Daily Itinerary
We meet at Athens “El. Venizelos” Airport and fly to Hamburg, one of the world’s largest ports.
On arrival, we head straight to the city center, passing through lush greenery and the exhibition grounds, then the vibrant St. Pauli harbor district with its famous fish market, shipyards, and docks.
In the heart of the old city, we see St. Michael’s Church, the Stock Exchange, and the stunning Old Town Hall on the shores of Lake Alster, before arriving at our hotel. After check-in, we explore the historic center on foot—visiting the railway station, theater, and one of Germany’s largest pedestrian streets. The rest of the day is free.
We depart for the great Hanseatic city of Wismar, where we explore Gothic churches featuring the region’s signature red brick—such as St. George’s, St. Nicholas’s, and the Church of the Virgin.
We admire the multitude of period buildings, the grand central square with its fountain, and the port’s characteristic warehouses. This architectural gem, shared with Lübeck under UNESCO protection, offers a glimpse into Hanseatic history.
Free time follows before we continue to Lübeck, the “Queen of the Baltic.” Here we see the Church of Our Lady beside the historic Town Hall, homes of famous writers like the Mann brothers, the house-museum of former Chancellor Willy Brandt, and the striking salt warehouses neighborhood. We return to our hotel for overnight.
We start with breakfast, then depart for Bremen, the fairytale city of northern Germany blending historic charm with modern energy. Here, fairytales and legends mix seamlessly with science, history, entertainment, tradition, and culture in this picturesque gem.
Fairytales define Bremen, from its Hanseatic heritage and long history to its aerospace innovation—proving an ancient city can stay forever young at heart. Our tour follows 2,000 brass and steel nails from Liebfrauenkirche courtyard through the main square to Böttcherstraße, once a craftsmen’s lane, now an artistic and cultural highlight of European civilization.
We admire the city’s iconic Weser Renaissance Town Hall (Rathaus) and the venerable Roland statue—UNESCO-protected symbols of commerce and foundation in the historic central square. Nearby stands Gerhard Marcks’ statue of the Bremen Town Musicians (donkey, dog, cat, rooster) from the Brothers Grimm, plus St. Petri Cathedral and the city’s oldest church, Liebfrauenkirche—climb the Cathedral’s tower for stunning views (free entry). Free time to explore, then return to Hamburg.
After breakfast we depart for Lüneburg, where, starting from the town hall square and passing through the old neighborhoods of the salt miners, we will head towards the port with its functional but architecturally beautiful facilities, where you will enjoy your coffee in one of the many quaint shops. Return to Hamburg airport and flight to Athens.

- The programs can be performed in a different order.
- The final program will be given with the information 3 days before departure.
- Early Booking is valid for first-time participants and for a limited number of places.
- Child prices apply for a child (up to 12 years old) staying in the same room with 2 adults, in an additional bed, except for exceptions.
- Children traveling with one parent need the written consent of the other parent from the police station or KEP.
- A valid passport or new type of identity card (within 15 years) is required for all tours in Europe. For tours outside Schengen countries, please contact our office.
- Travelers who do not hold Greek passports must contact the embassy of the country they will travel to. Children up to 12 years old travel only with a valid passport.
- In combined road and air tours, the seats in the coaches are interchangeable
