After breakfast, we’ll set out on a panoramic tour of Vienna’s most important landmarks. We’ll explore the famous Ringstrasse, passing by the State Opera, the Natural History and Fine Arts Museums, the Parliament, the City Hall, the University, the imperial Hofburg Palace, and the majestic St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Our tour will also include a visit to the splendid Schönbrunn Palace, once the summer residence of the Habsburgs.

For the rest of the day, we can choose to visit some of Vienna’s renowned museums. The Belvedere Palace gallery showcases masterpieces by Klimt, Monet, Renoir, and Van Gogh, while the Albertina Museum hosts fascinating temporary exhibitions. The Museum of Art History, one of the world’s finest, houses around 60,000 works of art. Art lovers may also enjoy the MuseumsQuartier, a vibrant complex dedicated to modern art and culture. Within its grounds, we can find the Architecture Center, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MUMOK), the Center for Applied Arts, the Tobacco Museum, the Leopold Museum, the Tanzquartier, the Zoom Children’s Museum, the Furniture Museum, the Kunsthalle Wien, and the Mathematics Center.

In the afternoon, we might relax with a coffee at the Danube Tower, taking in a panoramic view of the city, and then enjoy a leisurely stroll through the lively Prater Park — an experience we’re sure to remember.

After breakfast, we’ll dedicate our day to exploring the beautiful Vienna Woods. We’ll visit the historic Mayerling hunting lodge, where the tragic love story of Crown Prince Rudolf and Maria Vetsera took place. Our next stop will be the picturesque spa town of Baden, known for its elegant atmosphere and thermal springs. Afterwards, we’ll return to Vienna and enjoy some free time to relax or continue discovering the city at our own pace.

After breakfast, we’ll have a free day to enjoy Vienna at our own pace. Alternatively, we can join an optional full-day excursion to Salzburg, the enchanting hometown of Mozart, known as the “City of Melody” (cost €80). Built along the banks of the Salzach River, Salzburg offers countless sights to admire — the elegant Mirabell Gardens, the Town Hall, Mozart’s birthplace, St. Peter’s Church, the royal residences, and the Capuchin Church among them. We’ll have free time to stroll through its charming streets, browse the shops, or simply take in the breathtaking views from the city’s hilltop fortress. In the early evening, we’ll return to Vienna.

After breakfast, we’ll transfer to the airport for our return flight to Athens, taking with us wonderful memories of our journey.
